Lester has landed!

Kai's Auntie Leslie has arrived in sunny (and humid) Kuwait! Apart from being mistaken for an American soldier, the trip went well!

GD&GH have left the building..

Grandpa Don & Grand Maman Helene have departed Kuwait for the land of hockey sticks, Tim Hortons and Alexander Keiths... Looks like D&D will have to get off their butts and 'nut up' for some baby care!

Welcome to the World

The 'welcome to the world' headwetting party has come and gone with a great night had by all. The catering by China Queen was great and Grandpa & Grand Maman had a chance to meet a few of the Kuwait folks...

GD&GH

Grandparents from the land of the Maple Leaf have arrived to take on some of the baby duties.. GD & GH are making life quite a bit easier for D&D&K!! But we'll have to check their suitcases on departure to ensure no baby stowaways are trying for an early emigration to Canada!

Head wetting Friday.

We're gearing up for the head wetting on Friday night. We have about 50+ people coming. Catering will be by China Queen (yummy springrolls!). I hope Kai has his game face on!

Kai gets the snip!

Ouch! it makes me cringe just thinking about it! But he will thank us later.. The circumcision cost a whopping 70kd!! I'll be sure to save the invoice for when he grows up to be a rich banker :).

Kai is born.

Our son Kai was born 24th September at the Royal Hyatt Hospital in Kuwait. Mum, Bub and Dad made it through unscathed.
